Description

A French Late 19th Century mahogany & brass mounted antique writing desk. The rectangular solid mahogany top having brass moulding, a tan leather inset writing surface with gilt tooled detail and twin secretary slides. Having an arrangement of nine rectangular oak lined drawers, each drawer with a flame mahogany front, brass moulding and escutcheon. Having solid mahogany sides and back and rebated brass detail to the pedestals. This desk has been finished all around and can be used free standing in the centre of a room. French circa 1880-1890

Dimensions: 30" high x 57" wide x 32" deep (knee hole 24" x 24")

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
