Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
A Superb and very rare lamp, this one dates from the late 19th Century, the tall brass heron stands on a large brass lily pad leaf, rising from which there are twining stems supporting more leaves and lilies.

The Lamp comes with its original 19th Century Gamp Lampshade, this is covered in its original silk, white on the inside and waxed silk outer, sadly the shade is not in the best of condition and showing signs of its age but the frame is sound and could be recovered

The electrics are all working and appear to be relatively new
A Fantastic piece in all senses of the word
The Lamp is 76” high, and the lampshade is 18” in diameter
