Gents 1934 9ct Gold Rone Sixteen Wrist Watch

Gents 1934 9ct gold Rone Sixteen wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 16-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Rone Sixteen.

The watch itself measures 21.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31.5mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1934 with a case maker's mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific manufacturer of cases for various watch factories. The case is in good condition with just minor marking, nothing serious at all.

The convex lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with concentric circles. Original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track. The dial has darkened with age but it is still easy to read the time.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a very nice quality vintage Bravingtons of London presentation box.
