Edwardian Silver Toast Rack (4 Slice) – Chester 1903

This Elegant ANTIQUE SILVER TOAST RACK has four compartments divided by an arched style frame supporting a central handle. The Silver Toast Rack, made by Haseler Brothers and assayed in Chester in 1903, has an elegant navette shaped body / base that is supported by ball feet. The toast rack has five graduated delightfully shaped dividers resulting in four toast sections and the central divider has a shaped handle on the top.

This lovely Silver Toast Rack has not been engraved with any family crests or initials and one end has a full set of clearly defined hallmarks as described below.

This is made from good heavy gauge silver, is of fine quality and is in exceptional condition and could be used as intended as a toast rack or as a superb desk top letter rack or would make a wonderful addition to any collection and would enhance any table setting.
