Coromandel-wood Tantalus in Mint Condition

19th century
Description

A very good late Victorian brass-mounted 3-bottle TANTALUS in exceptional condition. The frame is of well-figured coromandel wood, with linings of satinwood in which the original set of three cut-glass decanters (all of which are in mint condition) are housed. Complete with original working Bramah lock and key. Engraved brass plaque for Mappin & Webb with the date 1880.
