The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Edinburgh 1939 with a maker's mark for the British Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, just a small “ding” to the case back but not too serious.

The lens is in good condition.
The enamel dial has a hairline crack running down from number 10 but it is faint and difficult to see with the naked eye. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
