The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is stamped argent inside the outer covers, argent is a Swiss / French term for silver gilt. The case has the odd slight indentation and light marking but overall is in good condition for a piece from the 1890s. The front cover has a cartouche which contains initials.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition. The white dial is in very nice condition and has a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The hands are initially lever set.
The watch comes with a double albert with each chain measuring 24.5cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
