This pair of antique Swedish bergere armchairs are not only great looking, but very comfortable too, because we have re-upholstered them using brand new feather cushions. The frames are satin birch, with that wonderful light & dark grain, plus they are double caned all over. They are in excellent condition & date from around the 1920's period. The frames are also exquisitely carved all over with scroll over arms & claw & ball feet. Please enlarge all the images to see all the fine detail. These armchairs do have a matching three seater sofa that came over from Sweden at the same time. If anyone is interested in buying it, we can have it upholstered in the same fabric to match, or you can buy it as is for around £750 or done up it will be somewhere in the region of £1500
