The falls lift to reveal two stationary compartments which can be pulled out, below are 2 small drawers with conforming inlay and fitted with pen trays. The 2 boxes joined with a shaped shelf and 2 cast brass galleries.The lower section having a bow fronted centre above 2 short and 1 long drawers all with satinwood cross banding, brass handles and working locks with keys. The writing surface with a re-placed hand dyed green leather which has traditional blind and gold tooling. The whole with further inlay throughout and raised on square tapering legs with brass casters. Stamped Maple & Co to drawer. Dimensions:- Height...37''/ 94cm. Width…42''/ 107cm. Depth…21.75''/ 55cm.
