Rare George IV Silver Snuff Box – John Shaw 1820

A stunning George IV rectangular ANTIQUE SILVER SNUFF BOX made by John Shaw in 1820.

Made in the form of a purse, this fabulous Snuff Box has an all over wriggle engraved decoration with applied floral chased ends. To the interior, the original gilt coating is still vibrant and the flip up lid opens and closes neatly with no hinge movement.

This fabulous Georgian Silver Snuff Box is free from any added engravings, initials or monograms and has a blank rectangular cartouche to the front.

In excellent condition despite being almost 200 years old, this superb Snuff Box is a real collector’s piece and would enhance any collection.
