Antique Welsh Three Legged Milking Stool

19th century
Description

Good example of a 19th Century three-legged milking stool, most probably from Wales. It has a solid inch-thick turned seat and has its original dark red/brown painted finish, beautifully worn on the surface of the seat. It has a lovely patina and is solid and sturdy. There are a couple of small knocks and chips around the legs but nothing detrimental.

The diameter of seat is approximately 7 1/2" (19cm).
