Description

Here we have a wonderful George III Welsh Oak cupboard dresser c1790. As you can see the dresser has super colour and patina. This super original dresser has a beautiful canopy pediment with decorative hanging finials. There is a cupboard to the top section with two doors. The doors have wonderful shaped fielded panels and turned handles with lozenge shaped escutcheons. On one side of the cupboard there is a single shelf. On the other side there is a rare built in interior with two short over one single drawer with a pigeon hole top. There is an orginal locking mechanism for the left door with a sliding hooked pin (photographed). The cupboard splits in two pieces and the base section has two drawers and a cupboard with a single shelf. The rear of the cupboard is panelled as are the sides. A fine quality rare example of its type in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 73 inches high 45 wide and 21 deep.
