Pair Arts and Crafts Cast Iron Fire Dogs

1900 - 1920
Description

The registration mark on the back of these fire dogs date them to around 1910-1911 (see last photo). They are in very good condition, in the Arts and Crafts design and each weighs approximately 2.2 kgs.

They measure 38cm at the highest point in the front; 18cm at the back; they are 25.5cm in length, and at the widest point between the feet is 18.5 cm. The casting is of very good quality.
