Description

An elegant, large and fine quality solid silver SOUP LADLE in exceptional condition.

Measuring about 13ins long, it is bright-cut engraved all the way down the length of the handle with a "star" to the terminal and the initial "S" within the navette-shaped cartouche. Makers: Alice & George Burrows II and hallmarked for London 1815.

***The partnership of Alice and George Burrows II lasted from the death of George Burrows I in 1801 until the death of Alice in 1819.
