Pair Victorian Bronze Cabinet Handles

19th century
Description

A pair of heavy and beautifully made bronze cabinet handles dating from around 1870-1900.

They measure 11.5cm in length from the top of the fixing to the bottom of the handle, and approximately 13.5cm across at the widest part.

They each weigh 0.5kgs and have a mythological animal either side with the body morphing into flora and fauna to shape the handle.

There are three fixing holes, one at the top and two either side of the backplate - the gap between the two is about 4.5cm.
