Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers C1780

This is a lovely antique georgian mahogany chest of drawers and dating from aorund 1780. It has a cornice top with deep dental moulding above four long graduated drawers all of which are oak lined and with later brass handles and escutcheons. It stands on original ogee bracket feet.

The chest is in lovely condition with good colour and age patination to the mahogany. The top is dove joined to the edges where the dental moulding is placed and there are a few marks to the top and a joint line. However this does not detract from this lovely chest and adds to its age and authenticity.

Measures: 43" high X 22.5" deep X 45" wide
