Antique Georgian Country Oak Bureau Desk C1780

This is a lovely antique george 111 country oak bureau desk and dating form aorund 1780. It has a brass escutcheon and working key to the fall front which opens to reveal seven pigeon holes to the top with open compartment to the centre and two small drawers to either side. The base has three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined and with original brass handles and key escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet.

A very nice georgian country oak bureau with good colour and age patination to the oak in good condition.

Measures: 40" high X knee height 28" X 20" deep X 38" wide
