Description

A good quality antique Victorian ash writing table or desk with 2 drawers dating from circa 1890. In a well-figured stained ash wood it stands on elegant turned legs united by side stretchers and back cross stretcher. It has a two drawers, each with drop handles and locks (one drawer locks and comes with a key). The top has a green faux-leather insert. This piece was probably made originally as a wash stand, but makes a wonderful desk. In good condition With a few marks to the top.

Mahogany

Solid and sturdy. Good colour. A few marks, scuffs and wear commensurate with age.
