Art Deco Chrome and Bakelite Wmf Tea and Coffee Set

1920 - 1940
Description

Very attractive set which dates back to the 1930s. Comprising of coffee pot, tea pot and lidded sugar bowl. Made by German company, WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), it is made of highly polished chrome with cherry red Bakelite and chrome handles and knobs. Beautifully made, the stylish clean lines and ribbed spouts give this set an elegant feel. The pieces are in used condition with signs of use/wear. The tea pot/milk jug has a small dint on the side of the lid, a straight line dint across the top of the lid. The coffee pot has a couple of dints measuring 2 cm and 1 .

Coffee pot height x diameter (excluding spout and handle): 20 cm x 10.5 cm.

Tea pot/milk jug height x diameter (excluding spout and handle): 14 cm x 12.4 cm.

Sugar bowl (excluding handles): height x diameter: 9 cm x 9.5 cm.
