A most unusual solid silver dish (possibly a pin tray). The circular dish stands on a neat circular base. Both of the top and bottom edges are encompassed with a neat decorative border. The base in the centre is made from a good solid jade, displaying wonderful hues of green. On the side of the dish, clearly visible, are hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1911, along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker''s mark is also clear for the renowned silversmiths: Levi & Salaman.
A very rare dish with many uses!
Condition: This dish is in great antique collectors'' condition!
