Description

This ANTIQUE HANGING KEY CUPBOARD, made from japanned metal with ornate, applied, brass decoration, dates from circa 1880.

The solid BRASS DOOR is decorated with a CHATELAINE, along with her CAT. There are crossed keys beneath the cornice. The KEY to lock the door is missing.

The CUPBOARD is original throughout, including the metal rings to attach it to the wall. It is very slim and would not project too far out.
