Description

Early 19th.c. continental biedermeier chiffonier side cabinet c.1830. Two drawers over a two door cabinet fitted with a single shelf. Exceptionally well figured flame mahogany veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern on solid oak groundwork across the top front and sides. Of singular design, with a concave curved front and carved detail to the centre of the door panels within raised mouldings. Flanked with turned half columns and raised on turned front feet. Oak drawer linings, shelf and backboards. Excellent condition and good mellow colour, attractively faded with age. Cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
