Pair 19thc Bohemian Meyr's Neffe Glass Enamelled Historismus Goblet Vases

A very attractive pair of late 19th century Bohemian green glass chalice vases or large drinking glasses. Decorated in the historismus style with sets of prunts around the waist and exquisite fine enamelled decoration of knights on horseback amongst stunning stylised coiling trumpet vines in a literal rainbow of colours. Attributed to the Meyr's Neffe Glassworks, c.1890. A near identical piece can be found in the Corning Museum Of Glass, (item 2001.3.169* link below) as most likely from this manufactory and there are many other examples of pieces showing this very distinctive trumpet vine painting.

They measure 18cm (7") high and 9cm (3 1/2") wide. They weigh 1000g together. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. The gilded bands around the rims and feet show some rubbing but there is minimal surface wear otherwise; the enamels are perfect.
