Description

A 1944 14K gold IWC wristwatch. A solid 14K gold case with beautifully designed teardrop lugs and sleek edges. A gilt dial with dot hour numerals and Arabic numerals to the quarter. Signed to the subsidiary seconds dial 'Inca', indicating that it features the Incabloc shock protection system. A high quality manual wind caliber 83 IWC mechanism, the backplate finished with 'Geneva stripes'. Serial numbers date this watch to 1944.

The IWC caliber 83 was a mechanism used in the famous and sought after MK 10 pilots watches of this period.
