A 1930s Rone Stem Winding Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1930s Rone stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality Swiss stem-winding jewelled movement, which is working well. The movement is stamped Rone, 7 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the England based watch case manufacturer Eclipse. The case has light surface marks from use and some mild bruising to the back but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch glass has minor marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Rone . The dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks between 10 & 12 o,clock although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch has its original gold hands & a later blued steel sub second hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
