Set 8 Georgian Mahogany Dining Chairs. 2 Elbows. Circa 1820

Description

Attractive set of 8 Georgian mahogany dining chairs, including 2 elbow chairs with curved rail backs and narrow top rail with satinwood banding. Standing on ring turned front legs. All in good condition with the odd repair here and there. All are firm with good upholstry. One elbow and one single chair appear to be of a slightly later date; hence low price. Fine rich darkish colour with great waxed patina.

Size; 35" high, elbows 20" wide, 20" deep, singles 18" wide, 18" deep. Seat height 18".
