Description

A fabulous pair of World War 1 British Officers Military binoculars made in France, signed Colmont Paris with both the brass on the binoculars and the leather case with the British military crows foot mark. The case is also stamped with the London retailer "T. French and Son, Ltd., London, 1916".

The binoculars are clad in a lovely embossed leather remaining in excellent condition with very minor wear commensurate with age, now over 100 years old and a true antique. They have integral sun shades which when extended, the fully opened binoculars measures 7 1/2" in length; when closed up they measure 5 1/2" x 5" x 2 1/8". The leather case measures 3 3/4" x 5 3/4" x 7".

Superb condition and one of the finest pairs we have had in sometime.
