Antique 1918 Silver Waltham Traveler Pocket Watch

Antique 1918 silver Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. It is fully signed and the serial number 21,114,006 which dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.7mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both case backs for Birmingham 1918 with a maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison who was heavily involved in Waltham before emigrating to the UK to set up a watch case manufacturing company.The case has light surface marking from use and a small "ding" to the inner cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1918 watch. There are initials engraved in the cartouche on the back of the watch.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Waltham and and has a couple of very faint hairline cracks but overall it is in nice condition. Original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
