In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
They are both in good condition and display beautifully. There are various small losses and minor damages but nothing detrimental. The frames are of course delicate but generally sturdy. There has been some professional restoration whereby some new clay has been applied to the reverse of the crest to repair and strengthen some cracks. The glass has slightly worn and spotted in places and the wooden back on one mirror has been replaced at some point. They have been lightly cleaned and are ready to hang.
