This pattern began with a single line of thread, to be replaced in the 19th Century with a double line of thread. The particular example is of the early single line of thread and has the rare combination of the ‘teardrop fall’ design above the hallmarks on the reverse top of the shank. A very early example of the pattern and a good useable item. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good, with no splits. There is one very small dimple to the bowl, commensurate with age and use.
