Description

An attractive Edwardian mahogany and inlaid triple brass weight musical long case clock. The hood featuring a swan neck pediment with brass spiked ball and floral inlaid frieze with urn. The glazed door having a working lock and key, to each side are turned columns with brass Corinthian capitals. The trunk having satinwood cross banding and a glazed long door which shows the 3 brass weights and pendulum. The plated face with cast brass pierced spandrels, matted centre and brass numbers. The eight day movement playing Westminster chimes on 8 gongs and striking on the hour. Very good condition with original brass weights and pendulum. Dimensions:- Height…96.25”/ 244.5cm.
