Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The frieze with two short drawers, flanking a longer central drawer. The top resting on two pedestals, filled by graduated drawers. All the drawers with ogee return mould surrounds, pairs of knob handles, and brass key hole inserts. The drawers mahogany lined. The pedestals finished with mould top plinths, and recessed castors. The desk finished to the rear to allow it to free stand.
Height 30 inches, width 28 1/2 inches, depth 48 inches.
