A vintage silver 1935 Cortebert pocket watch originally retailed by Winegartens London.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped Winegartens, 7 jewels adjusted, Swiss made and the Cortebert 536 calibre number.

The watch measures 49.2 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The silver case has Birmingham hallmarks for 1935 with the case makers mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has the odd small "ding" to the outer edge and the case back has a mild unevenness but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The watch lens is acrylic and is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Winegartens, 145 Bishposgate, London, E C 2. The dial has faint marking / nibbling to the centre hole although hardly noticeable to the naked eye but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
