Antique Georgian Mahogany Dwarf Chest of Drawers C1780

18th century
Description

This is a lovely antique george 111 quality mahogany dwarf chest of drawers and dating from aorund 1780. It has a moulded edge to the top with two short drawers over three long drawers all of which are oak lined and with 19th century brass handles and key escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and stands on lovely ogee bracket feet.

A lovely chest in very good condition with a nice deep colour and original patination oozing the charm and character of the period.

You will see from the photos that a small piece os missing from one of the brass key escutcheons. We have not replaced this for the sake of authenticity and really does not detract from the chest however should the buyer wish it to be replaced we would be happy to do so.

Measures: 31.5" high X 18" deep X 32" wide
