Gents 1950s Wittnauer Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Wittnauer wrist watch.

The watch has a signed Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre C11BG, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 10ct rolled gold and it is in good condition. The stainless steel case back is signed inside with the Wittnauer name.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has been professionally re-finished. Original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and a date aperture (not quickset) with black background.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
