Le Coultre 1940'S Wristwatch

Description

A Le Coultre 'tank' style wristwatch. An attractive dial with extended hour markers and dauphine hands. An outer minute track to the edge of the dial, along with a subsidiary seconds dial to 6 o'clock. A gold plated case with concave case decorations. Case made by Master Sutton, USA. A Swiss made 17 jewel manual wind Le Coultre mechanism bearing the mark VXN, indicating the watch was imported into and sold in America. This watch dates to the late 1930's or early 1940's.
