A super original set of fourteen 19th Century Arts & Crafts golden oak dining chairs probably by Liberty’s or Wylie & Lochhead. Comprising twelve side chairs and two carver armchairs they feature a pierced top rail and stylised tulip pierced splats above leather upholstered padded seats and stand on ring turned tapering legs with rounded feet. All the chairs are in good solid condition, there are minor surface marks consistent with age, the tops of the backs have faded and the polish has been worn down to a very mellow soft finish. Some marks to timber in front arm pads.
