An Attractive Enamelled Victorian Water Jug

Description

An attractive enamelled Victorian water Jug dating to circa 1880. The clear glass body is frosted green to the lower half. Decorated with gorgeous green enamel four leaf clover, often seen as a good luck symbol, the clover are connected with delicate trails of white enamel work and the jug is heightened with gilded bands. There is a broken pontil to the base and the rim is frilled. A lovely, decorative and usable piece of Victorian glass. Dimensions below.
