Description

A fine silver mounted match striker, assayed in Birmingham and retailed in Liverpool by John Bagshaw & Sons. This handsome example has a globe shaped, ribbed glass body for striking and an unusual all silver reservoir to hold the matches. A good collector's item. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good with no cracks to the glass body. A few minor blemishes to the silver rim commensurate with age.

Hallmarks :- Readable, slight loss to the date letter.
