Hobson May Collection has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
There is a cupboard at the back of each pedestal, both these cupboards have a working lock and key. The desk has its original castors, these are concealed within the lower plinth. The condition of the desk is excellent, two of the bottom handles have a tiny piece missing, these are minor and not apparent unless pointed out. An outstanding quality antique desk with practical and decorative appeal to enhance any interior.
