Sheraton Satinwood Inlaid Card Table. Circa 1790

18th century
Description

Superb Sheraton veneered satinwood and profusely inlaid half round card table standing on square tapered legs. The top and frieze inlaid with panels of marquetry and trellis flower designs. Finished on back and top supported with double gates when open. All in fine original condition with just a minor crack in top. Wonderful honey colour with great waxed patina. A truely magnificent table. Possibly Dutch.
