Small French Marble Top Bombe Chest of Drawers C.1920.

Description

Beautiful little French marble top bombe chest of drawers c.1920. Just 31½" wide. Original well-figured and shaped rose marble top with thumb moulded edge over three drawers. Bombe shaped front and sides with symmetrically arranged kingwood veneers and fine floral pattern marquetry inlays. Original gilded ormolu mounts, handles and escutcheon plates of particularly good quality. Shaped apron and legs with further ormolu mounts. Solid oak drawer linings, and back panel. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
