Hingstons of Wilton has dated this piece to the 1900s.
This Edwardian inlaid mahogany shield shape cheval mirror was made circa 1900.

The stand has a pair of sabre legs each end, with brass cup castors under.
The arms that support the mirror, form the shape of the edge of the mirror to give this an elegant feel.
The mirror frame, has box wood stringing, the stand also has the same stringing together with attractive inlaid motifs.
