Description

A Georgian Bristol mahogany bracket clock. Choice veneers and ebonised inlays to the case. Fishscale side sound fretwork and a glazed rear door. A cast brass bezel surround to the convex silvered dial with blued steel hands. Brass ball feet. A well constructed double fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell.

Richard Price Barber of Bristol is listed as working from 1789-1814. He worked at Church Lane and Wine Street.
