A Mahogany Georgian Chest of Drawers by Gillows of Lancaster

Description

A mahogany Georgian chest of drawers by Gillows Of Lancaster. Having a rectangular figured mahogany top above an arrangement of two short and three long oak lined drawers, retaining the original gilded brass knobs and with the original locks, escutcheons and key. Also with the original blue drawer linings, a feature of Gillows work. Having solid mahogany sides the whole supported on elegant turned feet and with a typical Gillows three panelled back. English circa 1800

Dimensions: 43" wide x 21" deep x 34" high

Condition: This chest is in excellent original condition, a wonderful colour and patination
