Pretty Rosewood Writing or Library Table

Description

A pretty and very useful early/mid 19th century rosewood LIBRARY or WRITING TABLE in excellent original condition.

Below the beautifully-figured top, with its rounded corners, is a mahogany-lined frieze drawer, whilst it is raised on shaped rosewood supports, conjoined by a turned stretcher and leading to compressed solid rosewood bun feet with original hidden castors.

The back is finished as a false drawer, with handles, so that this table can be fully free-standing if required. 28.5ins wide; 19ins deep; 29ins high (72 x 48 x 73.5 cms)
