The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a nicely jewelled stem-winding movement signed Omega, which is working well. The movement has the serial number 5453388 which dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 51.2mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The nickel case is stamped with an early Omega mark.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed Omega and has a couple of very faint hairline cracks between 3 & 4 o,clock but overall it is in nice condition for a 1917 piece.
The watch has blued steel breguet style hands.
The watch comes with a nickel double albert chain.
Each of the chains measure 20 cm long including the T bar and clasp.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
