Hingstons of Wilton has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
This Georgian style walnut pedestal desk was made circa 1900.

Each pedestal has canted corners with reeds, 3 graduated drawers, and then it finishes on straight bracket feet.
The top section has a drawer to each side of the long drawer, that is above the kneehole.

The top section has an inset coffee coloured leather writing surface with gilt tooling around the border, it also has the delicate feature of the indent shaped corners.
The desk comes into 3 parts, as would be expected of an antique desk, this also helps moving it around the home or office.

It is polished all around and so can be set up away from the wall.
This desk cannot be purchased elsewhere. It has the Hingstons Antiques brand plate, a guarantee that it is of the correct quality and condition to be allowed into our quality stock.
