Description

Early 18th.c. oak coffer c.1700 with restrained original carving. Flat (rather than panelled) top made of two broad planks with a deep moulded edge. Over a three panel front with carved nulling (small concave arches) to the top rail and repeated in elongated form on the mullions and stiles. Panelled sides with moulded rails. Panelled rear, original oak floor boards. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
