What can only be described as truly fabulous: A superb, silver plated biscuit barrel / box. The barrel is a good large size standing 21 cms tall. In a wonderful Victorian style; the engraving around the barrel featuring floral designs and silver ovals is beautiful, along with a meticulously detailed bird of prey finial, and four very pretty ornate feet attached to the integral tray on which the barrel is mounted. Oval in shape, the barrel has 2 attractive lion mask ring handles either side. The lid is hinged and opens and closes perfectly.
A superb item - stunning in appearance - a wonderful eye catching piece!
